Jubilee Medical Mutual Aid Association

A mutual aid-type medical insurance system operated by a private organization for foreign workers who cannot receive medical benefits within the system.
** Mutual aid type medical mutual aid association:
A private health insurance system that solves the problem of medical expenses through cooperation among members, that is, faithful fulfillment of member obligations.
** Health insurance is recommended for registered foreign workers > Inquiries: 1577-1000 (National Health Insurance Service)

Member Benefits

Members of the Medical Mutual Aid Association from partner hospitals in each region
① Can receive good quality medical services.
② Receive health insurance fee reductions ((100% of the total cost is borne by the patient)
(The reduction may vary depending on the terms of the agreement with the partner hospital)
Members of the Medical Cooperative from Jubilee Medical Insurance
① Receive medical expense support in accordance with the operating terms and conditions.

How to get medical expense assistance

① You can only receive low-cost medical treatment through hospitals partnering with the Jubilee Medical Mutual Aid Association.
② You must have a receipt confirmation stamp before visiting a partner hospital. Please visit the Jubilee Medical Mutual Aid Association headquarters or branch office to pay the monthly membership fee and receive a receipt confirmation stamp.
③ After paying the full amount of medical expenses at the partner hospital, present the receipt and membership card to the Jubilee Medical Mutual Aid Association and the payment will be made to your bank account. (Excluding non-reimbursement items, 50% of medical expenses will be covered, up to a limit of 1 million won per illness per year, starting from receipts 90 days after the date of subscription)

Non-reimbursement items 

Non-reimbursement items are applied based on the standards of the National Health Insurance Service, and in principle, the entire amount must be borne by the individual.
** Non-reimbursement items: medical checkup, newborn immunization, induced abortion, prosthodontics, scaling, cosmetic procedures, PCA (Patient Controlled Analgesia, or also known as Epidural), difference in hospital room fee, self-harm, injury, drug addiction, oriental herbal medicine, etc.

Foreigners who are employed and are in need of emergency medical fund (Certificate of your enrollment in Jubilee Mission Insurance needed)
Foreigners who are enrolled in Jubilee Mission Insurance for no more than three months, and, thus, are not eligible for medical fund from JMI
Foreigners who are enrolled in Jubilee Mission Insurance and are in need of medical fund that exceeds the JMI’s funding limit

Enrollment Guidance

Requirement

Passport (original and valid) (Should include visa stamp. If not, ‘Certificate of Entry and Exit’ is needed.)
Confirmation of employment (Check archive for the template)
2 Passport photos (3×4 size)
Enrollment fee 10,000 won + 10,000 won (monthly) 6-month prepayment (70,000 won in total)

Weekday: 10am ~ 17pm (Wednesday ~16pm) (Takes about 1 hour for new enrollment) / Sunday : 14pm ~ 17pm
Closed for Saturday and national holiday
Lunch hour: 12pm ~ 1pm
