1. Financial Support for Living Expenses for Applicants Seeking Refugee Status

Asylum seekers who have applied for refugee status within the last six months
How to apply
1) How to Apply - Visit your local Immigration Center with jurisdiction over your residence 2) Required documents - Application form for financial support, statement, confirmation on the notification of treatment, passport or alien registration card, bank account under your own name, certificate of residence, and additional documents to verify your need for assistance

1) Consultation languages: English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, Russian 2) Providing multilingual life and information for foreign residents in Seoul to help them settle into a stable life in Seoul

2. Social Integration Programs

Who can receive assistance
Lawfully resident aliens and naturalized citizens with an alien registration card or residence notification card.

Services provided
- Provide step-by-step curriculum on Korean language and culture to help foreigners affiliated with the Ministry of Justice adapt to life in Korea and improve their independence and settlement conditions - Two semesters per year, 8 total classes (phases 1-4, 20 classes per semester) Please note that the steps may change. Lawful residents interested in starting a technology or trading startup business in Korea
